Pay with confidence.
Mintkey uses TrueLayer's bank-payment experience so you can approve an eligible payment with your bank. Mintkey does not receive or store your online-banking password, card PIN or one-time security code.
How payment works
- Mintkey creates a payment request for the order total shown at checkout.
- TrueLayer opens a secure payment experience and identifies the participating bank.
- You authenticate directly with your bank using the bank's own security controls.
- Mintkey receives a payment status and confirms the order only after the provider status is verified.
What Mintkey does not ask for
We will never ask you to send us your banking password, full card number, card PIN, one-time passcode or security approval code by email, phone or chat. If someone asks for these details while claiming to represent Mintkey, do not share them and report the message to support@mintkey.co.uk.
Provider and data handling
Payment authentication is provided by TrueLayer and your bank. The relevant payment reference, status and transaction details may be processed by Mintkey and our payment, fraud-prevention and accounting providers. See the Privacy Policy and TrueLayer's current privacy information for details. The provider arrangement used at launch is [insert verified legal/provider details].
If a payment looks wrong
Do not approve a payment you did not initiate. Contact support@mintkey.co.uk with your order reference and contact your bank immediately if you suspect fraud. A payment marked as pending may need time for the provider to confirm; do not repeatedly retry until you have checked whether an order or payment already exists.
